iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

Update:
After the visit to Genius Bar can report that I've just had two reboots.
What a waste of time!

You can add another to the list.

I bought a 3GS 16MB to my girlfriend. And it restarts at about every other call.
It started after the upgrade to 4.0.
(Supplier Tele2 Sweden)

im really happy.... my 3gs works better on 4.0.1 than it ever has... just sayin

i dont get why itd **** up some peoples phones and not others, not doubting anyone but that is weird.

Me too, IP 3GS (16Gb) from 3.1.3 to 4.01, never jaillbroken, unlocked by O2.

Nervous to downgrade to IOS 3 due to the issues already highlighted in this thread

I ve got an appointment with a "Genius" tomorrow, it is out of guarantee by about a month so fingers crossed they will fix it or swap it.

Just had a 17-minute call with no restart, which is at least a good sign.

I am minded not to upgrade to 4.0.1 at this time.

I've also had the 'reboot during call' - it's happened a few times now since I've upgraded to both IOS4 and IOS4.01 - It was fine previously to the upgrade, never rebooted once.

VERY annoying!!!
