iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

I did and there was just an answering machine saying that I have to contact Sonera (the place I got the phone).

I have the same problem! Phone rebooted 3 times inside 10 minutes!!! Hangs on Apple logo then reverts back to normal!

Apple is investigating slow iPhone 3G on ios4. **** those guys can still make phonecalls.

Yep, same with me. Even running 4.0.1 now. It'd be really nice if Apple addresses this in 4.1.

Also, my phone crashes when used in 3rd party docks.

You can add me to that list.

Symptoms are the same as many others:
- Calls over 3 mins cause a reboot.
- Occasionally the battery drops like a stone for no apparent reason.

My 3GS and also my daughters 3GS are also both cutting out after a few minutes on a phone call, never happened before the upgrade and is really annoying

Just an update from me...

Got a new replacement 3GS from Apple with OS4 preloaded. I've not had any calls dropped even after updating to 4.0.1.

So just to summarise. It seems the best idea is to take the phone back to where you got it to get a new one? Sell it on eBay get a Blackberry and forget the whole nasty iPhone thing ever happened?
