iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

Me too. Was hoping that 4.0.1 would solve it but reading this thread it seems it won't. Just about to upgrade so fingers crossed.

So far so good with the new phone, I think replacement is going to be the only way forward with this issue of 3Gs and OS4.

Adding my name to the list. IPhone 3gs worked fine until updated to os4. crashes 5-8 minutes into phone call. Have restored as new phone - still happening. Can't believe this is not being addressed

Please, anybody know how could i back to 3x OS?, 4 OS *****! my iphone 3G is too slow, i can´t live with a low phone.

As far as I am concerned from the forum experiancing myself 4.02 does not solve the reboot problem. I would not count the chicken yet if I were you.

I am glad you got it fixed though.

Don't think its an app issue, as I set up as a new phone after restore, added no apps, made a call and....iphone switched off after 4 minutes!

My phone just did a reboot. ztoggle in combination with backgrounder is not a working solution for me!
