iOS4 update - now iPhone now reboots during phone call

After about 4 or 5 mins in a phone call my iPhone 3GS reboots itself for no apparent reason. this did not happen before I put the iOS4 update on it. Is the some way I can stop this happening, or revert back to the previous version?

so basically even if i do go to the genius bar and get my phone replaced, there's no guarantee that a "new" phone is going to work?

One tiny catch however: I am again repeating: This process is only for those who have already saved the ECIDs with SHSH to Cydia Server.

So if you don't have done this (like me) you are screwed?

....and I would also try a fresh iOS 4.1 firmware file. Maybe the original download was corrupted.

Tried the DFU once on my old 3GS, didn't work. And even with a brand new replacement 3GS with a fresh install of 4.0.2 didn't solve my issues either.

Sorry to hear that DFU Mode restore did not do the trick.
Did you also try it with a freshly downloaded firmware file?
Other than that, I can't think of anything else but a hardware fault.

And another user complaints about crashing Iphone 3GS with IOS 4.1. The crash occurs after aprox. 5 min. call...
