iPhone 4 will not turn on

Mine went to a brick mode just few mins back...now its good..Thanks to people to who told about hard reset - holding the power on and home button together for around 10 secs..it worked...thanks

Mine went to the brick mode too. Before reading the forum, I tried a hard reset.. Didn't work. Then I connected the charger cable and tried the hard reset again. w00t!!! It worked.

My question is does anyone know why this happens? This is the second time it has happened and its really annoying. Apple!!! Any answers???

I found a guide here that helped me with my iPod Touch. It should probably help with iPhones too. Hope this helps someone!

Hold Home button + Power button for 5-10 seconds and the apple logo will appear. I experienced the same problem before and that did the trick. it didn't tell me as to how my phone got into that state, though.

Had same problem and the two button approach worked. Why does this happen? Is it bad to charge it overnight? should I expect this to happen again?

I kept in my refrigerator for 50 sec and it turned on. Really it works. Try it..😎

i tried everything but my phone still wont turn on... 😟 i tried the home/lock button and held it for like 80 secs and nothing happens...my battery was 88% before it turned off.. any other solutions for this??

Neither mine.. My phone is 1.5 year old.. It was working fine till yesterday night.. Morning I woke up and saw.. mobile is not turning on 😟😟... Battery had 45% . Don't know what to do. I tried the home & lock button holding continuously but still didn't work 😟😟

--> Problem was: My iPhone 4S just shot down my itselfe (it did have battery and everythink´g was fine).

--> BUT this is what helped me: Hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time for a longer perioud of time till the Apple picture showes up on the scrin (about a minute)!

I got the same problem, thanks to the people who advice on how to fix it. Darn I thought Iphone is the best but it doesn't, very disappointed.

mine also died at 88%. nothing is working for me too. pressed the two buttons for 2 min, the apple logo still doesn't want to appear. and face restore error (28) when i tried to restore back to original. it is just not working. 😟

had it for 4months only. gotta bring it back to store tmr.
