iPhone 4 TV Out

I use the youtube app. Connect my iphone4

to the tv via the composite cable with the

iphone connector.

I guess thats the digital connector -

Wide screen / ntsc.

Audio plays all day - no video.

I use Airplay and my Apple TV to connect, I've asked another member to check the app with his equipment and check in here.

This worked until I installed IOS 6.1.3. Then YouTube stopped working for most videos.

I carry this cable when I travel. Netflix works fine.

I found that if I use the YouTube App, the video will not play on the TV. But,

if I use Safari and go to www.youtube.com, I can search for the video and it will

play.

So the problem seems to be with the YouTube App software or the interface between

the App and the iPhone output interface.

The current YouTube app is iOS 6 forward-compatible and is NOT configured for composite-TV-out(the red white yellow RCA).

So folks: Hold on to your older YouTube apps or use Safari, and keep a spare iPod Touch/Phone 4 or earlier around the house! :) Video-out shall not die as long as we stand united!!
