Bluetooth Problems

Hey people,
I am having problems with my new iphone 4 bluetooth.
When i go into the setings and turn bluetooth on it just says Searching and has the "working" symbol, it never finds anything and yes i do have my bluetooth on other phone on.
Also the symbol for bluetooth never turns blue,(next to battery symbol).

It looks to me like the bluetooth is not turning on at all ?

Anyone else having this problem, can people check there's and report what you think.

Thanks

iphone 4, iOS 4

I'm on iOS 4.0.1 on my iPhone 4 and the bluetooth on it is simply horrible. I have both Jawbone I & II and i can barely go to the next room without it dropping the signal from my headset (maybe 15ft.) Range on the headset i believe is supposed to be around 30ft?. And unless i have my phone RIGHT NEXT TO ME callers always complain that they can't hear me or i sound really muffled to the point they plead that i take them off bluetooth. Some even think that i have them on speaker phone and i'm standing far away! Sometimes with the phone right next to me callers STILL report my poor sound quality.
Never had a bluetooth problem with my iPhone 3G & used both Jawbones on it flawlessly. Also these are supposed to be 1 of the BEST bluetooths on the market. I noticed the problem with iOS 4.0 AND 4.0.1 I do think it's a software issue & hope that Apple fixes this quick because i used to rely heavily on my bluetooth and can no longer do so with this supposed "newer & better phone".
Apple is definately facing the most scrutiny with this new phone versus all their other models, which is pretty evident with all these problem posts. I still love my iPhone 4 but until they fix the antenna problem, proximity sensor, and bluetooth, i'll still feel let down 😟

I have the same problem with Bluetooth. My phone will not connect with any bbluetooth device (yes it's turned on). Do understand that iPhone 4 will not connect with any other phone except an iPhone? What's the use of having Bluetooth then? All the hype about the iPhone 4 and it's lacking a basic function that every other mobile phone has. I'm thinking of returning mine as it's not worth the money I paid. If I'm missing something please tell me.

Ok, this is seeming to be a problem for us all. I upgraded to the Iphone 4, and have problems with my bluetooth dropping and reconnecting AND when connected, a crappy connection. I have the BlueAnt V1 that worked fine with my 3G phone. I get the Iphone 4, and all **** breaks loose! I have upgraded the headset and still no luck!! Being as you really can't hold the phone and get good reception, and now can't use a head set either? This is crazy!! Especially paying the price for the phone! I don't want to return the phone and go back to what I had since this all seems to be software related, but what do you do?
