I would have to say that this phone is much heavier than the previous phones, although I never felt what the original phone weighed, so it might be that. By the way how long does it take holding the phone to make your hand go numb?

Yes, I have experienced it. I am afraid the iPhone 4 is microwaving our arms. I play the game "Field Runners" and it requires you to hold it a certain way. When I'm finished playing (sometimes 20min+ or so later - the game is addicting) I feel a numbness in my hand. The issue is with the top-most metal panel antenna.
I had been playing in bed, so initially I thought I may have been resting on my arm in a funny way to make it fall asleep, but then I realized both arms were in exactly the same position. I ignored it and didn't think anything of it. Today I felt it again after playing for a while, but this time its worse and I can feel it in my forearm and even up to the start of my bicep.
This is a real problem and really needs to be addressed. Even as I write this I can feel the subtle pain in my left arm that is taking far too long to subside and actually has me worried.
This is something Apple should address, if not be sued for.
