Anyone having iPhone 4 email problems?

update: just deleted my yahoo and re-added it and everything works fine now.

I use gmail too and I was getting those blank emails dated back to 12/31/00 or 12/31/69. alskdfj?!

Yes, I can confirm that this started happening on my 3gs with the gold master of OS4, email would suddenly stop bringing new emails in and messages would appear 1/1/1970 with nothing in them or no way of opening them, sometimes at the top of my list and sometimes at the bottom.

The only way i can find to unfreeze them is to restart the phone.

It is also now happening with the updated proper release both in the 3gs and also on my new iphone 4.

Apple please fix it asap.

I got 4 blank emails with the date 12/31/69 too. This same thing happened over a year ago with my voicemail account on my old iphone.

I have been having the same issues w/ the yahoo mystery emails from 1969. Based on the suggestions of others, I deleted the account, shut down the phone, turned it back on and added the yahoo account again.

This seems to have fixed the problem as my email on my Iphone matches my email on my desktop home computer.

I do have an appointment w/ the genius bar tomorrow to confirm that this is the proper fix.

I have the same problem with my me account.. I see the inbox and it says that I have a msg, but there is no message in my inbox. The way around this is go to your Junk email folder.. hit update.. then go back to your inbox.. and the messages are there...

Same problem except that the hour glass on mine while nit was checking went forever and then said it could not connect. Interestingly, my contacts and calendar from exchange were synching but not the email. I deleted the account, created again and had to restart the phone for it to work again. Any help would be appreciated. Hope it does not happen again.

I just deleted my me account from the phone... reset the phone... and added the account back in and it is working like a charm...

It does for me for a while too. But the problem starts again.

I was on the phone with an iPhone senior advisor for two hours today and then they could not figure out the issue then sent me to MobileMe advisor and after two hours they have no answer. Funny my partner's iPhone 3GS when configured with my MM account works perfectly he has iOS4 and my friend who has an iPhone 4 his MM account works perfectly too. What gives Apple? This upgrade has been most disappointing.

Same problem occurred when the it showed me a message that "it was checking for email" for a long long time with nothing happening. I turned the phone off and then when it got started again it worked fine. It appears this is becoming a recurring problem. This fix has now worked the last 2 days in which the same problem has happened to me at least 2 times.

I recently updated the software on my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4. Now, I am having problems with the mail application. When I receive new messages, they appear in my inbox with the subject and two-line preview (normal) but when I open them the message body is completely empty.

My boss also uses an iPhone 3GS, also updated the software to iOS4, and now also has the exact same problem.

I have the same problem whether I use WiFi or the 3G network.

I had no problems before I upgraded to iOS4 so I am assuming there is a bug.
