What a ****** bag, you haven't tested it, only assuming, because it's made of aluminum.. It clearly states, it is lined inside, but of course you'r closed minded on a product that's not out yet!
****** bag!
OK I'll ignore your rudeness and have one more attempt at explaining it.
In 1990 I set up an independent mobile phone repair businesses. When I sold the company to an multi-national in 2006 it was one of the largest (if not the largest) provider of repair services to the mobile phone insurance industry in Europe dealing with thousands of phones per day. I am only telling you this so that you understand that I have some considerable experience with RF and mobile phones.
I don't need to test a piece of metal to know whether in screens radio waves, it's a scientific fact.
Think of a piece of co-ax cable that you would use for your satellite dish or TV aerial, it has an outer braid or foil screen made of metal, this is to stop the signal getting out of the centre conductor of the cable. Think of a microwave oven, it has a metal case and metallic or metal impregnated plastic door seals, this is to stop the microwaves (which are radio waves) form getting out. Think of a satellite dish itself, it has a big metal or metal impregnated or coated dish. This stops the waves from the satellite passing through and bounces them back into the horn of the LNB.
Wrapping metal round your iphone antenna WILL reduce its sensitivity and radiated power.
The fact that the case you refer too is lined inside makes things no better.
Try checking your phones signal strength and then putting it in a biscuit tin for a few minutes and see how much it drops the signal. Even a real carbon fibre case for a iphone 3 will knock a bar or two off your signal in weak areas.
I wish I was wrong as its a stunning looking case, but I'm not.
+EDIT: Just seen you apology which is accepted ;-)+
