I haven't read the entire thread, but make sure your case has a large enough opening not to interfere with the flash. Many of the ones that came out on launch day were not tested for this and they turned the flash pictures into washed out photos.

This is correct. The Belkin Grip Vue's glossy finish causes the flash to give you the "washed out photo" look. Also, the buttons were really hard to press. I bought one initially then returned it. That was one of the few cases that were released with launch and weren't tested properly

I now use the iFrogz Luxe case. I like the look and slightly rubbery feel of it. Fits good and easy to remove. Found at Best Buy.

I have the iFrogz Luxe Lean Case and it's looks and feels great. Only issue is the flash. It tends to bounce off the case and puts a flare on the photo.

what happened? Is that the case too thin or the cutout for camera and flash is too small??

Check out cases from http://www.e-panda.com. Plenty of cases including bamboo with custom package.

Correction: I just took the case off (iFrogz Luxe Lean) and it was flaring the photos just like it was on. I really cleaned the back and took photos with with the case off which were fine and put the case back on. They were perfect - no flare. Moral: Clean the back thoroughly before putting on any case and it's real easy to smudge that lens.

take a look at the iFrogz Luxe case in all black. They sell them at the AT&T stores. Nice case but still keeps the phone looking classy. Maybe not the absolute best protection but a nice mix.

I just got my Speck Pixelskin case in the mail, and it has the flash glare problem! I called Speck customer service, and the person I spoke with indicated a redesigned case is already in the works. Just thought you should know.

Was this the PixekSkin HD? I just got it yesterday and am pretty happy with the look/feel. I haven't played around with taking photos with flash.

Oddly, I picked up this 3 dollar semi-hard case from eBay. It was shipped for free from Hong Kong. It's the best **** case I've ever had on an iPhone.

I just found a site that has a bunch of iPhone 4 Cases. Maybe Apple will reimburse me for one of those.

It's a bit ridiculous that they are out already. This one with the stand is my favorite!

I have the iFrogz Luxe Lean in green. I picked it up at Best Buy the day after opening day, and chose that particular case simply because it was the only one that wasn't either squishy or pink.

I really like the look and feel of it and receive a lot of compliments. Even the Apple Genius wanted to know where I got it.
