Check this deal out I just ran across:

HandHelditems.com has the iPhone 4 Candy Case with Frosted ABS Plate in pink, orange, red, blue, green, white, and black for $7 - $4 off with coupon code iphone4tpunabs [Exp 7/31] + $3 shipping = $6 shipped. Features a frosted ABS backing to prevent scratching of the glass housing.

Ordered one in black, from the pics and description they look pretty nice, it came to $5.84 shipped. I'm becoming a case whor3, this will make my 4th case ordered. First one is a Mivizu silicon case I'm sending back for refund, 2nd I have on now which is a Cimo smoke/clear I got for $8 off Amazon which I love the fit/feel but looks rather ugly really, and I have a black/clear S-Line series coming that I got for $6 shipped off Ebay, and now this one.

Has anyone managed to use a screen protector with a case like frogz and others? Spent an hour at an AT&T store without success. iPhone cases seem to be too thin to allow a screen protector to be sandwiched into the case along with an iPhone 4. To put it another way, when a screen protector was in place it was impossible to slide on the case without buckling the screen protector sheet. Anyone else have this problem?

Tony- I started out with an ifrogz luxe deluxe and really liked it. However, I was unable to use my zagg invisible shield with it. It kept peeling on the side.

I ended up returning the ifrogz. I was able to find a case that worked with the zagg. YouTube was helpful. The incipio silycrylic case works great with the zagg and doesn't peel. ATT stores carry them but they sell out quickly.

I hope Apple offers a transparent TPU (aka "jelly", "gel", "crystal", etc) case like the many I've seen online - that's what I was planning to get before Friday's press conference. They protect and cushion all four edges and the back - but since they're see-thru, they do not cover up the iPhone 4's appearance; you can see the steel frame through the case. They're also not sticky dirt-collectors like some silicone cases. Search keywords "iphone 4" "tpu" "case" on google, ebay, amazon, youtube, etc.

Don't forget that third party cases will not be reimbursed. You have to wait for the Apple website to show the list of choices for free cases. You will be reimbursed for an Apple-purchased bumper. Apple told me they will send me an email, that I didn't need to call. I guess they are going through their system to see who ordered bumpers and reimburse those credit cards automatically. He said to expect an email on this.

If you don't care about the reimbursement, then be sure that whoever advertises your case says it will work with the new flash. Many of the launch day cases had severe reflection because even though there was a hole, the case still reflected the light back onto the lens. A sloppy fix was a magic marker but I'd rather have a case that has tested the flash on it.

To the last poster, I wouldn't buy a case with a cut out because of the dust issue.
