White Balance on iPhone 4

I was wondering if anyone has heard of the white balance issue being addressed in an upcoming update?

Mine is extremely warm (yellow) indoors, but pretty good outdoors.
I have had it to get cold while allowing direct sunlight to hit it, but thats understandable.

I have noticed in the sunlight while shooting video of a white Boat, the whie area will actually change shades between white and yellowish in the finished video. just sort of flickers from one shade to another randomly.

Also, shooting video of fireworks in my backyard at night, the ceder fence appears to change shades between darker brown, and a rust color....I hope a software fix will help this. I though the hd would be the Sh#$!!

The phone I received also had the most abysmal white balance in poor light, even at close range with the flash. Skin tones were DARK yellow, white walls looked yellow, it was the pits. My phone also had the yellow blotches on the screen, so I took it in to the store and exchanged it. The new phone has MUCH better white balance, so I can confirm that not all phones have the problem.

My original phone also only displayed the problem with the back camera, the front one was fine. Now I am hoping they don't make a change in the software in future, because my camera is fine, as is. I don't want blue whites going forward. :-/

For those of you experiencing this I'd suggest you visit an Apple Store. This looks like a hardware defect as I (and a few others) cannot successfully recreate the problem. If it was software, presumably everyone would be affected. I'm taking pictures in low-light tungsten and the colors come out fairly accurate, even with predominantly blue subjects and no white in frame (as some are suggesting makes the problem worse).
