Netflix won't go into full screen mode in Firefox.

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but anyways. I just used migration assistant to transfer everything from my old 13" macbook 2008 to my new MBP 15" 2010. So after solving one problem with silverlight that wouldn't even let me stream movies from netflix because I was getting the error N8156-6013, I've now run into another problem 😟. One I start streaming a movie on my laptop within firefox and want to go full screen I can't. The video will either stop for a second and continue on normally, or the browser window will go completely black (although the sound is still working.) One remedy I have found is turning the automatic graphics switching off; However it's strange since it works in safari just fine and I don't have a problem watching other things in full screen. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Macbook Pro 15", Mac OS X (10.6.4)

I agree with getting back on topic, and I did get a response from Silverlight blaming Netflix. The reason is that I am not able to repeat this issue on any of the other website using Silverlight.

The official reply I got from Netflix after I forwarded the Silverlight email to them was that this is an Apple graphics card issue, since the incident can not be repeated with computers using a different graphic cards.

I have not received an official Apple Reply yet.

I had this same issue with watching Netflix in Safari or Firefox, changed the system preferences as suggested and it has FINALLY fixed the issue! This has been driving me crazy, I've called Netflix (three times), Apple (twice), and Microsoft (once) who told me about this forum. I was ready to cancel my Netflix subscription. Thank you to the people who figured this out!!!!!

I use ff9 and it works great except when i go into full screen on netflix like some other people here. The picture flickers very fast and goes black after a short time. The quick work around for me is activate mission control or Expose by pressing the mission control button F3 twice on my macbook or my favourite, flicking my cursor up to the top right hand corner of screen twice where i have set up a hot corner in mission control for desktop.
