try restoring
backup first
I found solutions for incorrect date and time or other corrupted settings. Simply reset your device:
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
You will not lose any data, it will just clear all your settings (sounds, wallpaper, lockscreen, saved wi-fi, etc...)
Worked for me at least...
@jah akil... your issue is obviously your wallpaper, you have used a screenshot from either your iphone or another iphone. Try changing your wallpaper, maybe that will help. Otherwise, reset all settings on the device. If it still does not resolve it, do a complete reset by "Erase All Content & Settings" just be sure to make a backup first.
Thank you UnrealFire, this now is working perfectly :-)

Had the same problem, then i followed one of the suggestion. just go to general>reset>reset network settings. but remember. it'll erase all the wi-fi connection that u've been made before. but u can make a new connection again. after that, the phone will restart. turn on the automatic set on time setting. if the time still doesn't show the right time, sync it with ur pc or laptop, then it will show the same time with ur pc. hope it can help . and thanks for this thread 🙂
Reset network settings will do the trick and syncing the device with iTunes on your computer will also update the time.
This worked for me thanks.
I've just had the same problem.
Toggling Settings / General / Date & Time: Set Automatically off/on solved the problem for me.
Company issued iPhone4 despite reluctance of real-world users. Impossible to resolve the displayed time problem - phone is five minutes late despite trying ALL the fixes mentioned in thread. Apple users seem to be unable to accept that their Macs and iPhones are poseurs' toys, and not worth a tihs.
Only solution - garbage can!
