That would seem to indicate that Apple are not allocating stock to stores based on when reservations were made. According to the White City store (London, UK), they are still only dealing with reservations made on 24th June.

I hope, at the very least, Apple are allocating stock based on the number of reservations made as a whole. For example, sending a set percentage of outstanding stock to all stores rather than a set number of units to all stores. Otherwise, stores like White City could have people waiting for much longer than other stores which either received more stock, took less reservations or stores that are considered higher priority (such as flagship stores like Regent Street).

glad to see the list is going down though...i ordered from the apple birmingham bull ring store on the 9th....so if thats anything to go by, i have roughly 2 weeks left to wait for that list......i wish they would just state what kind of quantites they are getting and how big the list is......ive also ordered from the online store which quotes the 3rd of august for dispatch and the 10th for delivery.......

Do you mean you reserved a phone at the store?

I reserved one here in LA. It took about a week and a half until I received an email telling me the phone had arrived.
