apple's in-store priority list

hey, so i signed up for the priority list on monday at my local store here in NJ for the iPhone 4 and have yet to hear anything back. has anyone had any luck with said priority list? i can't get a straight answer out of anyone re:if the phones are even coming into stores, haha.

yeah, whoever is managing apple store on 5th ave in NYC has a great sense of humor. They clearly told their employees to tell people 2-5 days (or in my case, 3-7 days) and now their only response when I tell them that on the phone is, "I don't know why someone would have told you that, it's more like 2-3 weeks."

Last girl I questioned about it, her answer was simply, "He lied to you. He lied."

On my 16th day of waiting. Think I'm just gonna buy the 3GS because I can't deal much longer without a phone!!!!

Go ahead and buy the 3GS so that you have a phone. Use the 30 day return period for your wait for the iP4. Once you are at the top on the priority list, take your 3GS back and exchange it for the iP4 and just pay the difference between the price of the 2 phones. Voilla
