Removing waiting downloads from iTunes iPad app?

I've got the same problem. I have tried everything, it doesn't let you download the film, doesn't let you delete even when I tap it it doesn't let me retry the downloading. I want to setup an epson printer and it doesn't let me contact to the iTunes . I am fed up. Please help me.

I've experienced the same problem a dozen times. Please fix apple. I encounter the problem with movie rentals. I watch half the movie and the next day, after the rental period expires, the movie keeps trying to download and there is a circular loop.

I tried all the suggestions but it didn't work for my ipad mini. Pls need help! It's really frustating!!!!😢

Hi Cathreen, did you try swiping right-to-left on the "Tap to resume Download" box? This worked for me as it brought up a "delete" box. This wasn't on the mini, but shouldn't matter.

I can't seem to get any of these solutions to work on the mini (signing out/in with a restart, swiping to delete, etc). Anybody come across how to fix this on the mini?

Mine solved. Its auto disappeared once you update any apps in your ipad. 😁

Stupid problem just gets worse with every version of the iOS. Version 7 gives you an edit button so you don't have to swipe but you can't select the broken ones so thats just as useless!

Is there a way to remove 700+ downloads in the intues downloads queue rather than swiping all of them individually?

To delete shows that are in the iTunes download queue, leave the download queue screen and go back to the purchased tv shows area. Beside the tv show icon for that episode will be a cloud. Click on the cloud and then right away click it again. This will remove that show from the download queue. (this is in ios7 but I think it also works in earlier versions)

This doesn't work for expired rentals though. I'm working on a solution to that now and will keep you posted.
