Removing waiting downloads from iTunes iPad app?

This may be a stupid question, but if there are some podcast downloads waiting to resume downloading in my iTunes iPad application, how do I remove them without having to download them?

MacBook 13" Aluminum, iMac i7 fully spec'd, iPad 64 WiFi, iPhone4, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 10.5.8 on MacBook,

I figured it out! I was downloading a movie in HD and wanted to cancel the download but couldn't even pause it In the download screen much less delete it.


Go to the spot where you originally ordered the rental.


There will be a download circle with a 'stop' square in the middle. Press to stop.


I had deleted the already downloaded portion in Videos, but I don't think that mattered.

I have had the same issue downloading music and after many weeks and reading your posts and wrestling with the probelm i found a solution. I noticed this issue occured since downloadong the latest IOS. Aple should reveiw this glitch.


Go to General/Reset/RESET ALL SETTINGS. this does not unload your databut resets the basic settings to the factory default for the latest IOS.


After reseting the pass codes, WiFi settings and the like it strated to download the previously stalled music. CeeBee
