July 1st despatch date problem UK?

just wondering if anyone whose phone was despatched on 1st for UK delivery is having problems with tracking on TNT's website, I'm a little concerned as I booked 5th and 6th off of work to take delivery, anyone actually received theirs yet?

I have the same issue. Ordered 16th June with an expected delivery date of 5th-6th July. Apple shipped on 1st July (allegedly) and I have received invoice and my card has been charged. When I look at the tracking information the estimated delivery date is 14th July and there is no carrier tracking information at all. I have just called Apple and they confirmed that my phone should arrive on the 14th July. When I asked why they had charged my card they said that they charge on shipment of the goods.

I am very disappointed with Apple. I have spent many thousands of pounds over the last year moving our business over to Apple and this is the first time I have felt badly let down by them. The joke is that my son just walked into a store and bought an iPhone4 just a couple of days after its launch, whilst I am having to wait nearly a month for a phone ordered directly from Apple.

Why should it take two weeks to ship anything from anywhere on the planet? Apple have screwed up here and I will think twice before ordering anything from them again.

It's strange that my estimated delivery changed from 5-6th July to the 5th on dispatch then one day later 2nd July. Yet it shipped on the same date that as others that now have a delivery estimate of the 14th...

I wonder did Apple not have enough stock for this batch of orders, hence the no delivery tracking for the people with the 14th as there new delivery date and also seemingly being rolled into the next batch of deliveries!

Still no further updates on my tracking :
03 Jul 2010 09:13:25 Hong Kong Shipment In Transit.

And that's local time, it hasn't changed status for over 2 days now!

I have had items shipped form china before, using EMS delivery I have had my item in 3 days! I think apple are deliberately misleading us with false information to try to keep us quiet, A little bit like their "solution" to the signal problem, they deliberately falsified the signal reporting so people would think that the iphone 4 had better signal and now they have been caught out!

I was lucky enough and I collected one from Apple Store in Brighton on 25th. I was there on 24th as well and they had loads in stock due to reserves, but half of the people who reserved theirs did not turn up to collect it and they couldn't sell any on 24th, they started selling them to any1 on 25th. Hence my online order cancellation.

For those people that can't get tracking info from TNT, you need to change TNT site - it is the UK tracking site that is down. Click on "change" next to United Kingdom at the top of the page and select "United States". Then put in your consignment number on the first page. This has worked throughout the weekend (though without updating).

My status is much like others on here, shipped 1/7, delivery changed from 5/7 to 2/7.

However, in the last 15 minutes, TNT have updated to show it arriving in Arnhem in the Netherlands.

I just called TNT France (iPhone 4 ordered on French Apple Store online on June 17th). They told me Apple delayed the expedition. Delivery planned for Wednesday 7th...

Let's hope Apple or TNT update their status, it is not professional not updating any information since friday for a "fast delivery"

I haven't got a consignment number to track the delivery. I've only got my Apple order/PO number which starts with a W, a 10 digit additional order number, a 10 digit delivery reference number and a 10 digit invoice number.
There is no carrier tracking number or assigned carrier on the shipment status page. I've tried all these numbers on the TNT website just in case and none of them work - either UK or international.
