I was looking for a bike mount for a very long time, and now I found the perfect mount, which combines build quality, optical quality and a perfect safe iphone holder. This iPhone mount is also for the 3GS, you can find below a link to the shop of NC-17.

The only issue with it is the price tag of 89,95€ which is a lot, but still I think its worth it, as it is fully alluminum and you can turn you phone in any direction and possible way. I will also give some youtube links for some impressions.

The product that I bought is something totaly different as the one you mention, as the quality levels are totaly different, the nc-17 is matching the iphone 4 quality level, and also if thinking of a bike that costs maybe also something like 1000-2000€ than i would not like to buy such a cheap plastic mount to be honest, but again this is everybodys own choise. ;-)

Ok...I spent too much on my bike and the whole package so I wanted to go cheap in order to carry my phone. I have an Otterbox case and it comes with a holster or belt clip which I have never used. I cut some foam and attached it to the center part of my handlebars. I then used zip ties to attach the holster belt clip over the foam. I just used the foam for bumps and such. So now I just pop my phone in the Otterbox holster and I am on the way. I didnt spend a dime on it and works great even on my Mtn bike over roots and bumps. It is close so I can use the ear buds and I love it. I just need to find somewhere to buy extra Otterbox holsters.

While it is not cheap ($99) it is Made in the USA and will not fall off so I recommend the Rokform Bike Mount

There are a lot of bike mounts out there for the iPhone but the Annex QLK-BKE-IP5 Quad Lock is by far the best. It's secure and easy to install.

I bought the iBike Console for iPhone and I have to say it's pretty legit. I've had some other mounts that were pretty sketchy but I have no concerns about my phone when using this trusty mount.

My suggestion would be the Tackform Freedom Bike Mount. It has an adjustable grip so you can get a super firm hold on your device regardless of what kind of case you have. It also comes with a cool rubber sling that grabs the corners of the phone to keep it even more secure in the cradle as well as dampening the vibration.
