There are a ton of iPhone mounts on Amazon. But, I don't know if any are ready for the i4.

You could contact the companies and see if they have plans to develop an i4 model

Not a bike mount, per se, but it grips very well. They do show it being used as a bike mount. I use one in my car.

wondering the same thing. im using my more on a bike trainer. was thinking about modifying something or fabricating an entirely new mount

A lot of people use the iPhone for motorcycles, specifically off-road adventures, mainly because it holds really good off-road mapping software. Some guys film their rides on it, which is pretty amazing.

The bumps are NOT going to damage the iPhone. Dropping. Rain. Dust. That's going to hurt it. Get an otterbox then get a RAM mount to place it on your bars. Put it in a place that is protected from a fall (meaning, don't put it on the bar ends).

Do you really think monitors are deleting comments? I'm pretty snarky, and I may have had a couple deleted over the past 8 years, but not many.

Whilst the phone gets quite hot in there on sunny days it's nice to have realtime mapping accessible right infront of you.

Word of advice though - measure up first as there's a chance your legs may hit the pack when you pedal - mine is fine but i've heard from others that experienced this problem.

I too use the Spiderpodium (someone mentioned in earlier post, http://www.breffo.com) and totaly love it! At first you think there is no way it will hold the phone, but I am yet to be proved wrong! It grips great AND because it is rubber, it absorbs all the bumps. Only issue I have is that someone might steal it, cos it's way cool looking!

Looks like a good biking solution. Not rigidly mounted so as to receive direct vibration and jolts from bike frame. May be a bit less 'seeable' than being up on the bars, but 'MUCH' more protected from injury (to phone ;o) in a fall.

Some may block the volume buttons or hit them. Be sure it's on tight with the spongy grips. Most should work.
