Can I go Caseless?

I had an iPhone 1 and 3G Without a case. Never a scratch on the glass and I was pretty rough on it. I got a 4 and I already have 5 little scratches on the front face and the signal loss is DEF an issue. Going to the "Genius" bar tonight. Probably coming home with a case and films. I HATE films, but I hate scratches more.

How can people say it's just a phone, I like my stuff to look good. I use my phone all of the time, surfing, picture, video, watch movies, games and email. Who wants to look at a scratched up piece of junk. That's like saying it's just a car, then I have to sit on all your freaking fast food wrappers because your to lazy to clean your car. How much effort is it to take care of stuff.

I go without a case and screen protector but I do cover the back and sides with Zagg Invisishield.

I also want the naked look, but the iphone is an expensive investment. I have the bumper, which prevents scratching when laying down flat, and I'm expecting a screen protector tomorrow in the mail. I kept a clear case and screen protector on my 3GS, and it was in pristine condition, able to sell it to Nextworth for $222!

eBay is the way to go! I sold my wife's pristine 3G 8GB for $190. I could have sold my iPhone 3Gs for $350 to $380 (it's pristine shape, too) on eBay, too, if my wife did not get my 3Gs. BTW, the 3Gs is sooo much faster than the 3G. The IP4 is even faster than that, of course, but I am glad that my wife is happy with hers.
