Unlimited data to data pro with tethering.

Since AT&T added tethering to the iPhone 4 plan I'm thinking of switching. My only dilemma is that if i switch to the new data plan i would have to give up my "Unlimited" data plan and be limited to 2GB a month. Is it worth it? Would i be able to switch back to my old unlimited plan? I know this isn't an AT&T forum but anything helps. Thanks

MacBook Pro 13" 2.53 GHZ, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPhone 4 16 GB

Upgrading your phone doesn't require changes to your data plan unless you're renewing the contract (in which case you won't have the unlimited plan anyways).

ATT does not require that you switch plans when you renew your contract. One of the phones we upgraded to an IP4, a 3G, was off contract completely and just running month to month on the unlimited plan. ATT said no problem to keep it Unlimited with the new 2-year contract.
