I have an iPad 64Gb/3G. I like the idea of the iPad and I have been making a big effort to using it a lot for the past 4 weeks, but I just can't seem to get used to it! I try everything: iBooks (a heavy-weight book if you ask me and quite awkward to hold), email (a pain to write), browser (hard to hold it in one hand and use the other hand to 'finger' the screen), music (can't find a reason to use this over my iPhone), games (surely some are interesting). Is it because I have both an iPhone and a MacBook? I just find it easier to use the latter for pretty much everything. Am I alone? I am not complaining about the product, but I was hoping I would grow to really really like it, but it's not happening.....sad really.
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Unibody, Late 2009),
Mac OS X (10.6.2),
4 GB RAM
I wanted to hate mine, tried to hate mine. But I love it. My laptop is seldom used anymore and my PC for syncing only. I find that I keep it with me all the time. My wife and kids also love it.
Why do people complain about gadgets some people would kill to get? And what's wrong with giving it away to someone deserving? I have always done that.

I don't really like my iPad. Am I alone?
