IPhone 4 Bluetooth Issues

IPhone 4 doesn't allow reasonable range and other issues with bluetooth headset. Fyi, tried with Apple Bluetooth headset which worked perfectly with IPhone 3G & IPhone 3G-S. Issue, you can have IPhone 4 in shirt or pant pocket and bluetooth will disconnect. Also, you can have IPhone 4 inside car and close the door while standing right outside the door and bluetooth disconnects. This never happened with previous models including IPhone 3G-S with IOS 4 installed.

Other bluetooth issues: as others reported - muffled sound quality to person your talking to. Time delays and disconnects with bluetooth Uconnect. IPhone 4 won't let you change between your car audio phone feature back to IPhone 4 without freezing.

My headset is only good on phone calls. It will not work with music, games or video. Does anyone own a mono that does other aduio besides voice calls?

This thread wouldn't be 14 pages long and counting if a simple reboot of the phone was the solution. That's the first step any of us took. iPhone 4 is messed up and Apple needs to fix it.

Yep, I read your post. Rebooting has done nothing to fix the problem of connecting to my car, even temporarily.

HBH-IS800 Sony-Ericson has worked 4 me 4 months. I had same issues as you guys. Check it out.

Is the Sony head set working? I have had many headsets, however, love the Jawbone for reduced noise during conversations and conference calls.

My iPhone 4 bluetooth does not work full stop. It wont find any bluetooth device let alone connect. Any ideas??

Bought the new Bose BT1, worked beautifully for a week, then started dropping. Can't even put my i4 phone in my pocket. Rebooting helps, but by the end of the day it's dropping again.
