Video recording without sound error (iphone 4)

I have no sound for like 6 months and now i used needle to clean the small mic hole and everything works fine.Great

This has happened to me before, but thanks to all you guys answers I figured out what the problem was. My question now is, is there any way to fix your videos that had no sound, so that they do have sound?

That would be impossible since no audio information was recorded in the first place since the mic was blocked.

But audio information was recorded, but just bits and pieces... I would think there would be some way.

i have also that problem with my iphone 4S IOS 5, it looks like te the camera film to fast when you play te video after you filmed... what to do ?!

I see a lot of people here having mechanical issues. Mine was a software issue. I'm thinking vtok video chatting caused it but just a guess. My problem was same symptoms but when I went to play an audio book it would autoamitcally pause. I rebooted phone then played iPod a then it worked.

Cleaning my top mic with the end of a staple did the job for me. Thanks

quiksillvr is right! After thinking for a few weeks it was a bluetooth or hardware problem the pin cleaned the microphone and it works like a charm! Keep the crud away from the Iphone 🙂

It's definitely the top microphone.

I did 2 restores first, but no luck.

A little needle did the trick!

Now i can finally have some sound with my video again!

Thanks to everyone who suggested the needle trick. It worked like a charm.

Cleaning the top mic with Pin/ needle just worked for me.. right now.. been having these issue for like a couple months.. omly noticed after actually watching the social cam videos i was uploading...

So try cleaning and blowing down that small hole.. it must be debris blocking air and what not...
