Can I type an Ancient Greek text using standard iOS keyboard? If I don’t can I ask Apple developers to add polytonic keyboard for the Greek like they do with English — there are several keyboard types (QWERTY/AZERTY/QWERTZ)? Maybe it’s possible to type polytonic Greek with the hardware keyboard connected to iPad?
See if you can try with a hardware keyboard. I just tried with a bluetooth Apple Keyboard and found it as an option. I cannot test it however because I do not know Greek.
Settings> General> Keyboard> Keyboards> Add Greek
Then with a hardware keyboard connected go to Settings> General> Keyboard> Hardware Keyboards> Greek Switch from automatic to polytonic.

I forgot to mention that you will want to make sure the built-in keyboard is set to the Greek keyboard option when you are using the hardware keyboard to type Greek.
You can type Greek but I don’t see keyboard option for Ancient Greek.

Thanks, I don’t have hardware keyboard, but after your answer I will go to shop and check whether it works or not (however it seems that it works).
I’m sure there are polytonic Greek screen keyboards in the App Store, check the Keyman app.
