AppleTV’s don’t see all my movie as anymore after moving countries

I recently moved from Netherlands to Canada and have had an extensive iTunes movie library bought in the Netherlands. I have 4 AppleTV’s to watch and buy my content. I had to switch Région as by apples rgulations and limitations but now I lost a significant part of my library. I have also bought new movies in the Canadian store and plan to buy some more. In a few years I will move back to the Netherlands. Now I found out I lost access to a lot of my movies I bought earlier. This sounds unacceptable in nowadays world where people are mobile and travel and move. How can I still stream my movies that I bought and own both in Netherlands and Canada now and in the future? Can Apple just take my stuff away that I paid for?

Content can obviously have different rights-holders for different countries, and also content might not be available in other countries (and even if you didn't move countries there is no guarantee that a particular film will remain in a country's store for streaming/redownloading). You still have your downloaded copies of them on your backups of your downloads/computer, you can stream them from your computer to your Apple TV
