As Indian business laws traditionally banned or limited foreign-owned companies' involvement, I am not even sure the contact given in that link is an official Apple presence; it may be a contracted service due to the legal situation. I understand that the laws are changing but do not know if changes have progressed enough to ease the problem Apple has in India.

Have you confirmed that the company involved is a true Apple Authorized provider? In the 17+ years I have been here we have seen many complaints of providers in India that claim to be authorized are, in fact, not authorized.
