Siri’s Voice Won’t Download
I’m trying to download another voice for Siri but it’s just stuck on downloading. How do I fix this?

- Found this from reddit: Go to [settings] ->[general] ->[language and region] and change your default region to something else. (Keep it to your language I went from English US, to English UK)
After that go back to Siri and change voice. Do know you will have to set up your “hey Siri” steps again. Then go back and switch language back to your original settings.
worked for me, until Apple gets around to fixing this bug. :)

Tried all these suggestions. Still not downloading other accents.
This is not helpful I have the XR and XS Max on iOS v12.1.2 (latest version) tried all options and restarting my iPhone still does not work
I’ve tried everything on this site. Nada. However, I am stuck with the same voice I’ve had for a few years, Australian Male.
I am also having this issue after the software update and all other potential fixes.
We attempted all of these things, but they didn’t do it.
Sorry this didn’t work- it worked for me. You would think Apple would respond - even if they are working on it they could say so.
Totally agree Sam5301. Even admitting there is a problem would show a lot of class.
Same, even went Settings → General → Accessibility → Speech → Voices → English (or your main language) and downloaded the voices i wanted but still cannot apply them to Siri, quality :/

SOLVED: Go to settings -> accessibility, then download the Siri voice in the other language there. Then go back to Siri settings and switch it to your Siri voice!
Changing the language in the accessibility options isn't working for me either...
Finally! This worked for me as well. Thank you to yourself and the person who posted the solution prior to your clarification. This issue was driving me nuts.
