Updating software on homepod - 2 different versions

Any ideas on how to get my homepods on the same software version? One is on 12.1.1 and the other is on 11.4.1. Not sure how this happened. When I go to update, it says it is current. I have installed the beta profile on both. Running 12.1.1 on both phone and ipad....all devices on the same wifi network.

See Reset HomePod - Apple Support. Reset the device running 11.4.1 and try to update it again.
