I feel your pain...
If I understand correctly, your audio devices present a physical male (blade) Lightning plug/connection - intended to mate directly with a female Lightning port on an iPad/iPhone. If my understanding is incorrect, then the following may not apply to your particular problem.
Many specialist MFI (Made for iPad/iPhone) “approved” devices utilise the Apple-proprietary Lightning connection (such as the DXO One optical and dedicated FLIR thermal cameras - and specialist devices like the Wildlife Accoustics Echometer Touch Series of ultrasonic modules). Unfortunately, no interface-converters appear to be available to convert the new iPad USB-C presentation to Lightning.
Regretably, where an accessory device is designed to present a Lightning interface, it is not simply a case of “adapting” the connection itself - the entire interface (physical, electrical and communication protocols) must be actively converted between two otherwise incompatible standards.
As such, if you have invested in one of Apple’s shiny new 2018 iPads, a whole raft of dedicated hardware been consigned to relative obsolecence. This is a price of progress; existing accessory hardware may become incompatible with new iOS devices; when upgrading anything, including iOS devices, it is always worthwile to carefully consider the wider consequences.
If such a suitable “adapter” were to become available (at the time of writing, to my knowledge, no such interface converter exists) it would have to be developed - or at least approved - by Apple.
Sorry I can”t, currently, offer a simple solution to your connection issue.

That's what I figured. I see a lot of lightning to usb-c adapters, but as far as I can tell they are all power only, not data. I think I'm pretty much screwed until someone comes out with a usb-c pro audio adapter for the new Ipad Pro. A pity. I think Apple should have made such an adapter available as soon as the new iPad was available.
