Error 0xE800001C

After my daughter pulled the plug on my iPhone 6s while it was actively communicating with my PC, I received this error everytime I tried to reconnect to iTunes. I couldn't find any answers on-line, but it seems like others have had this error. Just figured it out. Here's what I did: Updated iTunes on my PC and also made sure that iTunes was updated and working on my iPhone. When I opened iTunes on my iPhone, I had to click through a start screen, which might have been the problem. After the iTunes update, I shut down my PC. I plugged my iPhone in to my PC while it was still shut down. Then I turned on my PC. I tunes started up on its own. I clicked through all the normal permissions to connect between PC and phone. No error this time, and I'm reconnected to iTunes. I'm not sure which of these steps actually solved the problem -- just glad it is solved. Hope this helps someone!
