Changing trusted phone number on Iphone

How on earth can I change the trusted phone number on my phone, since the current one has an error in it and i can not receive verification code, which i need even if i want to add a new number, than delete the old one? When i log onto my computer it keeps poping up the mesage too many code sent, but i can not receive any?
