Green Screen iMovie Effect Overlaying Blue Clothes

Filmed in front of a green screen with blue clothing on. After we filmed the first clip, went through and checked we could add a background, and could.

Now, two weeks later when i've edited the whole video, when I try to add the background into the clip, it is replacing our clothing with the background instead of the green screen. Pic below.

Anyone know how to fix?

Hi,

This excerpt from the iMovie help menu might address your issue:

"The color that iMovie removes is based on the dominant color in the frame at the position of the playhead

when you choose Green/Blue Screen from the pop-up menu. If the frame

below the playhead isn’t representative of the rest of the clip, you may

need to reposition the playhead and reapply the effect."
