My Ip address has been changed to Atlanta Georgia for some reason. I live in the UK

I have been using my MacBook normally and go on BBC player and it says this is not available is your country (I live in the UK). I go to check what is my IP and it says Atlanta Georgia? How?

Ask your service provider or whoever assigns you your IP Address.
