iTunes shared music won't play after Mojave upgrade...

Hello.

Mac Mini: running High Sierra (10.13.6)

MacBook Air: upgraded to Mojave (10.14)

iTunes fires up on both machines. MacBook Air sees my High Sierra shared music...and nothing plays. And when you click on the name portion of the file, it asks you to locate the "missing file" which makes no sense since it's supposed to be accessing the shared files on my Mac Mini.

And, yes, the music on the Mini is working just fine.

Tried restarting both machines. Same result.

File Sharing is on with both computers.

iTunes Sharing is on with both computers.

I'm guessing this is osmething new that has yet to be figured out.

MacBook Air (2018 or later)

Hello TabascoMan,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post, it sounds like your MacBook Air isn't able to play music over Home Sharing. You've done some great troubleshooting so far, and I have a link with a few more steps that may help resolve this. These will help you double-check to ensure you're signed in with the same Apple ID on both, restart your routers and check network connectivity settings, and look for possible issues from security software: Get help with Home Sharing for iTunes libraries.

I hope these steps work for you!

Have a great night.
