Adding 3-D metadata ("st3d") to videos for uploading to YouTube

YouTube used to have a simple checkbox when uploading 3-D videos. It is gone:

The options given in their ffmpeg example do not work (error message).

I am trying to find a tool or method to insert metadata in to a .mov or other video file. I would have thought Compressor could do that (it has a checkbox for 360 metadata) but I have had no luck finding it, if so.

Thoughts?
