apple watch - finished your workout?

A few months ago I did a watch update and ever since I am constantly asked if I finished my workout. Although I appreciate this update for accuracy purposes, which was needed, it is far too sensitive. If I pause to wait for cars to pass, tie my shoelace or fix my hair, it asks if I am finished with my workout. I often cannot read my workout stats because it is on this screen.
