Safari History clearing

I found the "Clear History" in the setting but it is unclickable grey. How do I change it to clickable blue?

My safari history won’t clear I wanted to clear my safari history, as it gets in my nerves when it isn’t clear. I went to clear it, however the button is greyed out, and I can’t press it. When I go to settings the clear history button doesn’t work either. Please help.

Have you tried quitting/reopening Safari? As a workaround, Safari/History/Show All History, and try the Clear History button there.
