I wanted to clear my safari history, as it gets in my nerves when it isn’t clear. I went to clear it, however the button is greyed out, and I can’t press it. When I go to settings the clear history button doesn’t work either. Please help.

Is Screen Time Restrictions enabled?
Turn off web content restrictions, if turned on.
Have your passcode ready.
Your Restrictions passcode is your Screen Time passcode.
Tap
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions
Enter your Passcode.
Content Restrictions > Web content > Web content > Unrestricted Access
Tap “Unrestricted Access”.
Open Safari and check.

When there's no history or website data to clear, the setting turns gray.
The setting might also be gray if you have web content restrictions set up under Content & Privacy Restrictions in Screen Time.
If you go to Settings/Screen Time and disable all restrictions, can you clear the history?
Turn Safari off in iCloud syncing and try.
If this doesn't help, sign out of iCloud and try.
It still isn’t working. The clear button is still grey.

It also doesn’t let me delete bookmarks and says “bookmarks are being synced”
It is now letting me delete bookmarks, but still won’t let me clear my history
It says “sign out not available due to restrictions”
