my mac pro isn't connecting to my mouse and idk why, my mouse i put to charge with my phone charger. is it even the same charger

Most mouse have a LED indicating light. If yours has one what is it doing?
If a bluetooth mouse, using a wired mouse try connecting using Bluetooth preferences
