Roland TD-50 sound module compatibility with macOS Mojave
Device: Roland TD-50 Sound Module
Hardware: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
Software: macOS Mojave Version 10.14.1
Application: Ableton Live 10 Suite
Connection: USB Audio (Alternate: MIDI w/ interface)
Alright, so the main thing I'm hoping for here is to spark some conversation about the above topic. Mainly because I can't find a single thread or discussion on the topic anywhere and it seems as though I'm the only one in world who owns a Roland TD-50 and needs it to work with macOS Mojave because I need my Mac to work with other things that require Mojave, but is growing increasingly inpatient waiting for Roland to release their updated driver making the TD-50 fully compatible with macOS Mojave.
Does anyone know a workaround to make this work via the USB connection? The closest I've come to so far is using my buddy's interface via the MIDI port on the back of the TD-50. We were able to successfully record to Ableton as MIDI and audio that way, but does anyone know a way to set up the 10 tracks that you're supposed to be able to set up on a DAW? Anything you can mess around with in the Audio MIDI Setup on the system? Is there something that I am missing here entirely?
Please, I don't need a lecture on updating to Mojave before checking compatibility. I'm hoping to gain some insight because the topic seems non-existent and this is just for conversation sake.
