Transfer data from iPad 2 to iPad pro

I just purchased an iPad Pro and want to transfer all my apps, photos, games, etc., but because I have an older version of the iPad it doesn't allow me to update it to iOS 11. I have an iPhone 7 with iOS 11 that automatically syncs to the new iPad but I'm not confident that transferring from my phone will get all the data that is on my iPad since they have different generations of updates. What can I do?

Did you ever sync that 2 to your comptuer? If so back it up to your computer, then use the computer to set up your pro and ser it up from the backup of the 2 you just made.

You canalso use iCloud to backup the 2 and then use that same backup to set up your pro.
