hello i had a question. I just got my new phone about a month ago. i lost all of my pictures but my contacts and everything stayed. i didn’t back up my phone before i got a new one due to it breaking on me. i still have the sim card to my old iphone. is there anyway i can get my photos back ?

Can you go to settings > Your Name > Then go to iCloud and make sure that cloud photos is on.
Lets see if the photos was uploaded to iCloud, if it is, it will download, make sure that you are connected to wifi.

No. The SIM card has nothing to do with photos. If you have no backup, and you did not turn on Photos in iCloud settings they are gone forever.
