Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you are unable to download a rental from the iTunes Store. I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.


The following support article provides some troubleshooting steps to try for this behavior:


Rent movies from the iTunes Store - Apple Support


Specifically, try the steps under the "Find your rentals" on the device you're attempting to locate the rental on. Keep in mind that you have 30 days to start watching movie rental. Once you start watching it, you have 48 hours to finish before the rental is automatically deleted from your library. You cannot download a rental to more than one device at a time.
