When I want to show my iTunes library content in a different way (e.g. “Recently Added”, “Albums”, “Songs”, “Composers” etc.) I have to click on the corresponding label in the sidebar. Is there any way to add a shortcut for this? For example: ⇧⌘R to view my Recently Added items, ⇧⌘S to show my Library as a list of songs, etc.

Generally speaking, you can use the steps in this guide to create keyboard shortcuts: Create keyboard shortcuts for apps on Mac. However, you can only create a keyboard shortcut for commands that are part of the app's menu. For example, you could set up a shortcut for any action under the File, Song, View, or Account menus. Since the "Recently Added" and other listings in Library don't have a menu bar equivalent, you wouldn't be able to set up a shortcut for those, but you can always send feedback directly to Apple: Product Feedback.
