Garageband NO INPUT SOURCE SELECTED

I recently upgraded to Mojave OSX and now my internal and external mic (Yeti Blue) does not work on Garageband. When I click to record it comes up with a window saying NO INPUT SOURCE SELECTED. I tested the yeti mic on Audacity and it works fine...

Any fixes please...?

Have you already allowed garageBand to access the microphones? This is necessary in Mojave.

Check the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy.
Click the padlock in the lower left corner of the panel to unlock it.
In the sidebar of the panel click "Microphone".
Enable the checkmark for GarageBand.
