The application “App Store.app” can’t be opened after Mojave upgrade.

Hi,

Just installed Mojave on a MacBookAir (late 2015) and the App Store app refuses to launch each time returning a panel stating:

The application “App Store.app” can’t be opened", followed by an error displaying:

"App Store cannot be opened because of a problem."

There's 10 or so updates waiting so I'd like to get this sorted.

I cannot find a way around this; can anyone shed some light on the problem. please?

Try downloading and running the 10.14.2 Combo Update.

If you hadn't already tried, Restart your Mac.
